My Partner and I recently moved to the area and have made 80/20 our local for coffee/hang out spot. We come here several times a week. The coffee here is great, we're still making our way though the menu. So far everything we've tried has been yummy and beautifully presented. I'm not vegan but I really like that they have lots of options for those that are. I love their weekday breaky wrap special, the staff are always so accommodating often making me a wrap on the weekend even though it's a weekday menu item. The people working here are so lovely and go the extra mile to make it a warm, friendly and inviting place to come anytime of the week. ~ Becca T

I come here every day for my coffee and food, and it’s always an absolute pleasure. The staff are fantastic – they know my order, are incredibly friendly, and always go out of their way to be accommodating. The coffee is consistently excellent, and the food is fresh and top quality every time. It’s such a welcoming spot, and you can really feel the genuine care they put into both their service and what they serve. You feel like part of the family. A true local gem! ~ Corey E

The food, coffee and service is absolutely devine. The food servings are so generous and the flavours are delicious. The coffee has been so smooth and excellent since day one. And the staff just keep getting better and better at looking after the place. They are always so very very kind and considerate. The cafe looks a little bare, it could do with some atmosphere or something fun to make it feel a little more.... Mmmm... Of an experience to sit in. But that will come with time. ~ Sarah K

This cafe has been my favourite coffee stop every morning before I get to work. Romi the tattoo guy has been my best barista to go with lately. His coffee has that constant level of taste, texture and the temperature. Guy is also good with the names and their specific orders and also love cuddles with dog. All the Staff are welcoming, nice & pet's friendly and service is on top. Well done guys. Plenty parking available. Yay! ~ Sophie G

Absolutely loved my breakfast here! I ordered the salmon benedict, and it was one of the best I’ve ever had — perfectly poached eggs, silky hollandaise, and fresh smoked salmon on a crisp toast. The coffee was excellent too, and the staff were super friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was cozy and relaxing — a perfect spot to start the day. Cannot recommend higher, a stand-out Cafe for the area! Romi and his team are very good. Top three coffee southside in my opinion. No really very good, strong, well presented and with real attention to the milk. Open hearted, efficient and quick. A happy surprise in a half completed shopping centre and a great stop for cyclists doing the Cotter loop or Stromlo like me and mates. A cinq étoile expérience.🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏 ~ freewheelindave

The food was amazing and beautiful. I really appreciate the varied options. I did make a mistake by not requesting my meal as gluten free because there was no explanation on the menu for what the asterisk meant :( I checked soon after I ordered and they accommodated my request which I really appreciate. ~ Stacey R

More spacious than anticipated, good vibe. The food was actually fantastic - Very generous helpings of bacon and clean and tasty all around. Juices/smoothies were also quite good. We accidentally forgot to ask for no cheese on a breakfast roll, and they took it back and remade it, no questions. 100% will be back as a regular. ~ David

Excellent café in the heart of the Molongo Valley. My go-to of eggs benedict & a flat white always hit the spot. I appreciate the very friendly service, and there's a great range of savoury and sweet on the menu for all tastes. It's an ideal place to relax and recharge after a walk along the nearby Molonglo River. ~ Kyle H

Basically this place has the best coffee in Canberra. We are a bunch of government workers, basically council workers, and we have visited most cafes in Canberra for our morning coffee . Out of say 30 shops, this is the best or second best. I drink a long black, look at the crema… ~ Matt H

Dropped in today and grabbed a bacon and egg wrap with a cappuccino, The coffee was honestly the best I’ve had in a while, super smooth and perfectly made. The wrap was fresh and the service was quick and friendly even though it was busy, Definitely coming back. ~ Thomas B

Asked if the cafe made fruit salads, staff offered to make one for me even though it is not something that they have on their menu. Chefs and staff went out of their way to make a beautifully presented bowl, exceptional customer service and lovely staff. ~ Madeleine K

We had the pleasure of having breakfast at Eighty/Twenty and I have to say—the mighty breakfast was absolutely outstanding! Excellent service and delicious waffles. Super happy to discover an Eighty Twenty in the area after moving into Wright. While the new build area lacks the atmosphere of Kingston or Braddon, the team here make up for it with smiles and service. Food is as good as you’d expect. ~ Stuart P

Ordered from uber eats and of course the drver delivered it to someone else. I contacted the store and the staff at Eighty Twenty Cafe Coombs went out of their way to make my order again and deliver it themselves. 🙌 The food is always great and the customer service is excellent. ~ Kim F

Awesome find. Visits from Melbourne, coming down from a walk at Mt Aggie we wanted lunch. We had a variety of food - beef burger, halloumi burger, breakfast burger and Matcha Açaí bowl. The meals were fresh and really tasty - I couldn’t recommend highly enough. ~ Kirsty M

Our favourite local. My toddler loves it and is regularly brought here by us, and both sets of grandparents. The staff always remember our orders and give a nice welcome to our daughter. Food is great all round but the Japanese salad (with grilled salmon) is my favourite! ~ Stewart P

This is my local and the guys are always so lovely and caring. I also can't buy coffee anywhere else as it's always so delicious and consistent here. They often will go the extra mile for me when I'm busy with my baby and kids to help where they can make it easier. Very family friendly staff. ~ samantha w

The food tastes amazing and is wonderfully presented! French toast and acai bowl particularly stand out! Service is really friendly as well. My only minor critique are the noise levels inside the building due to poor noise insulation, especially when the blenders are in use. ~ simon g

This is my go-to place for a take away Bacon and Egg roll/wrap. During the week they have a BnE Rolle + Coffee takeaway deal, and it hits the spots just right! The staff are always very welcoming and friendly, and I will remain a regular here for the foreseeable future. ~ Daniel P

These guys are awesome. I often stop in for a takeaway coffee on my way to work and I can confidently say they make some of the best coffee in Canberra. The staff are really friendly and efficient, making the early morning rush a breeze. Highly recommend! ~ Peter B
